These are similar to the Screen Door Zombies.

  • Shieldy Gnome - Carries a shield to protect itself from frontal attacks, also giving it increased health.
  • As long as you stay moving when the blasts are fired, you should avoid the damage. The shots deal 10 damage each, but after firing, the Shooty Gnomes don't attack for around 8 seconds.
  • Shooty Gnome - These Gnomes carry a ray gun and attack by shooting a burst of 3-6 blasts that travel in a steep arc, landing at your current location, kind of like a mortar.
  • They'll hop up to you and smack you with their hammer, dealing 20 damage, and can also throw explosive apples.
  • Gnome - The most basic unit, they'll come in different colours depending on which boss you're building up to face.

There are 5 achievements related to this mode, but I'll tell you how to get them later. It is also worth noting that, as long as the host paly has unlocked Infinity, you can bring up to three other players into Infinity with you, so this would likely benefit your progress, however as with Crazy Ops, your enemies will grow stronger the more of you there are. They are then traded in to unlock chests when the game mode ends and you can unlock rewards that are only available from Infinity. Time Shards are also used as a sort of currency once you leave Infinity, as you The number of shards one shard is worth also increases with each quadrant cleared. Bosses drop bigger Time Shards, which will heal you for 200 HP each instead. Time Shards dropped by regular enemies heal 50 health. Instead, enemies drop Time Shards when they get vanquished. In this mode, you health does not regenerate. The goal is to survive as many waves as possible until you get vanquished or if your Time Stability runs out. Instead of 5 stars to enter at wave 1, it would cost you 8 stars to enter at wave 5, then 11 stars at wave 11, 14 at 16, 17 at 21 etc. This would usually cost you 5 stars to re-enter Infinity, although when you reach every 5th wave, you can choose to re-enter Infinity at that wave for a higher star cost. The first time doing this is for free but if you don't get all the achievements, or fancy entering Infinity again after completing this mission, you will need to spend stars in order to re-enter. You'll go through a short tutorial when you first enter Infinity, which will cover all your basic abilities.
